Richard Platek is the Facilities Managers at the DPD Smethwick site, he oversees the maintenance of all the onsite facilities at Smethwick as well as several other DPD sites throughout the Midlands.
Preventative maintenance is required to ensure no problems arise in the day to day running of the distribution centre. Preventing any downtime which can be more costly than the maintenance contract itself.
“Morson FM look after all our gas appliances and plumbing – checking the boilers are working properly and any plumbing issues we might have, here and at the Hinckley site.” Richard explained.
